Understand the request
We begin by identifying the audience, the task they need to complete, the environment in which they will use the product, and the result that would count as success. That keeps the work anchored to a real need instead of a list of decorative features.
We confirm scope and constraints before making decisions that affect cost, privacy, accessibility, or future maintenance. We separate confirmed requirements from assumptions and open questions.
Make progress reviewable
We organise the work into meaningful changes so the team can understand what changed and why. We preserve existing working behaviour while improving the smallest relevant area. A change is not complete merely because a screen looks finished; visitor-facing behaviour and failure paths also need verification.
Verify before publishing
We test direct page access, links, contact actions, responsive layouts, appearance preferences, documentation search, metadata, and the hosting preview. For installable experiences, we also check installation eligibility and offline recovery after relevant pages have been cached.
We distinguish a successful upload from a successful production release. If deployment reports an error, we review the actual build result before assuming the live website has changed.
Release and maintain
We publish the agreed scope, record user-visible changes, and keep product status accurate. After launch, we use real visitor feedback and reproducible reports to prioritise improvements rather than adding features only for appearance.
